SAE INDIA is conducting an event to encourage young engineering students to develop their professional skills and creativity. In an event called SUPRA 2016, they have invited numerous universities to submit a concept and design of a Formula type racing car. The car has to be entirely built by the student group. Approved designs will be manufactured by the student groups and the cars thus made will be displayed in a competition at Noida in July this year.
This is a great opportunity for students to display their zeal to take up challenges and learn real life manufacturing situations.
One of the teams that is participating is from Jain University, Bangalore. The Students Group, ably guided by their dynamic faculty, are ready to get started. They need your support, encouragement and help by way of sponsorships. The cost of the project is estimated at about Rs 9 lakhs ($ 13400)and could spill over a bit more.
